Since its small beginnings in the early 1970’s Clark Door quickly adopted a strategy of developing well engineered innovative door products to meet the needs of its U.K. and international customers. This strategy has seen the company continually grow; as the company grows its capabilities are evolving ever further to provide increasingly cutting edge solutions for customers.
Patents
The company holds many Patents for its product design innovations and has unrivalled fire certification and acoustic laboratory and site-test data. It is one of the few international companies that can offer both a horizontal sliding and hinged door with a 4 hour fire integrity rating and large acoustic doors with sound ratings in excess of Rw56dB.
Innovation Partnerships
Clark Door for many years has been a major supplier of doors to the cold store and food processing industries offering the largest choice of door types for energy saving and hygiene applications, developing its own door control and drive systems ideally suited to high use environments. New Engineering Innovations allow Clark Door to offer greater value than competitors.
Clark Door seeks to maximise these value opportunities by harnessing the experience of the Clark Door engineering team and working with outside experts. Two recent examples include WS Atkins and Daresbury Research Centre who, by partnering with us and selected customers, have enabled us to develop products with maximum Energy Saving Potential that are fit for purpose.
Bespoke Solutions
For over 30 years the company has used its engineering expertise to develop bespoke products to meet the needs of its clients be they pivoting, sound proof, ventilation doors or large hinged automatic closing fire doors. As a U.K. based specialist manufacturer with a large engineering design capability the company is continually using its expertise to develop new innovative solutions to customer’s requirements for a wide range of doors and has its own in house Research & Development Team working on providing technically excellent competitive door products.
