Clark Door Cold Storage doors are designed for freezer and chill applications to assist with temperature control in high use storage facilities.  The heavy duty, robust design provides a long lasting door in demanding distribution/storage areas.  The food safe designs are hygienic and suited to both low and high risk food preparation areas, and are available in a wide choice of finishes.

Insulation is paramount, Clark Door panels are manufactured with a rigid internal frame - foamed in place with environmentally friendly urethane giving superior insulation.  Panel thicknesses vary to suit temperature differentials crucial to energy saving and the reduction of carbon footprint.

With energy saving in mind, door opening and closing speeds are the quickest on the market. The duration of a door being open is also critical to reducing energy costs - with our wide range of activation devices carefully selected to suit door traffic types and volumes.

Research and Development on Energy Saving

Members of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) for many years, Clark Door has a sought to better understand the requirements of the Cold Storage Industry.

Our continuous Research and Development program on energy saving methods with WS Atkins, Daresbury Research Centre and our Coldstore customers enables Clark Door to understand and accurately calculate energy losses and identify for each door type the energy savings and payback periods.  The selection of the correct door for the application saves £1000s in electricity costs for our customers and reduces their carbon footprint.

For busy fork lift truck doors we are able to draw on products that are crash proof to protect against damage and unexpected repair bills.

Clark Door installation teams will install your new doors with minimal disruption and with safety in mind our installers are CSCS card holders, SAFEContractor approved, Food passport, PASMA, Fork Lift Truck and Scissor lift licence holders.

Planned Maintenance

Nationwide service engineers are on hand to deliver fast response should a breakdown occur, electrically qualified with over £5,000 of parts stock and key access equipment a first time fix is high on our list of priorities.  Planned preventative maintenance programs can be tailored to suit your door type and usage – 20 plus year old doors in the field are testament to our commitment to provide long term partnerships with our customers.
