Contractor of the Month for Acoustic Doors Project

Bovis Lend Lease have awarded Clark Door Limited contractor of the month, for the Acoustic Doors project performance at a new Broadcasting Studio in South England. As a token of their appreciation Bovis presented Clark Door Limited with a bottle of champagne.

Clark Door's Managing Director, Andrew Ashley, presented the bottle of champagne to the project team in one of Clark Door's bi-weekly customer contracts planning meetings. He stated: "I am delighted that our customer has rewarded us with this gesture, it has galvanised the team's efforts and given us all a real boost of encouragement to know we are on the right track."

"The main reason for the award was the tenacity the engineering design and manufacturing team showed to better understand and then meet the customer's requirements with our new concept acoustic door. To communicate effectively with the customer's design team, Clark Door made a mock-up in our factory and videoed the scenario to demonstrate we had developed a solution that met all parties requirements. There is no doubt the video really helped people clarify the problem better as we were given the go ahead for manufacture almost straight after this."
