Clark Door welcomed Henri Murison, Director of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership and Luke Dicicco, Group Business Editor of Newsquest in their role as in-Cumbria Business Awards judges.

Henri, a self-confessed fan of visiting manufacturing facilities, wanted to get straight out onto the shop floor to see how our specialist high performance doors are made before they are shipped to UK and worldwide customers.  Henri and Luke then grabbed a quick preview of work on our 22-metre high factory extension which will provide a platform for Clark Door’s future growth by improving productivity and facilitating the R&D of even better engineered products.

The prestigious new Flying the Flag for Cumbria award recognises companies that have put Cumbria firmly on the map with the products and services they offer, and by developing new markets across the UK and overseas.

Luke tweeted:

‘Brilliant and inspiring day with Henri Murison judging the Flying the Flag for Cumbria award for in-Cumbria magazine Business Awards 2019, hotly contested between English Lakes China Forum, Trade Copiers and Clark Door. All doing great things to put Cumbria on the map.’

Clark Door are delighted to be a shortlisted finalist, the winners of the in-Cumbria Business Awards 2019 will be unveiled at a glittering ceremony, which will take place at The Halston, Carlisle, on Thursday 14th November.
