Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients and architects on construction plans to provide structural design solutions for the support of large high-performance doors.
  • Provide technical management for specific contracts from order receipt to installation
  • Take responsibility for projects ranging from £20,000 to £2,000,000 in value
  • Liaise with internal team, customers and suppliers
Candidate requirements
  • BEng/MEng Civil and Structural Engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and designing products into buildings
  • Willingness to learn new engineering fields such as fire engineering, acoustics, thermal insulation technologies and their application to doors within buildings
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of contractor and budget management

Key responsibilities
  • Produce detailed manufacturing drawings for large high-performance doors
  • Work closely with clients and architects on a variety of projects
Candidate requirements
  • Familiar with 2D AutoCad, 3D skills an advantage
  • Educated to HND or Degree level
  • Light to medium fabrication design experience
  • A flexible approach with proven problem solving skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Service specialist door systems
  • Assist in fitting new door systems and ensuring they work correctly
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times
Candidate requirements
  • Mechanical or electrical background
  • Clean driving license
  • Able to pass CRB checks for security clearance
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce drawings for the manufacture of technical door components
  • Liaise with production team to improve right first time quality performance and increase productivity
  • Assist the Factory Manager in day to day tasks including maintaining quality records, producing capacity plans, and assisting lead time reduction
Candidate requirements
  • Confidence in using CAD
  • Experience of working in a production environment
  • Knowledge of plasma/laser cutters would be beneficial
  • Strong team working and communication skills

Covering a range of customer sites UK wide but mainly in the South West of the UK

Key responsibilities
  • Service Clark Door and other manufacturers doors at customer sites, including specialist acoustic doors, freezer doors and industrial doors. Mechanical and electrical work involved.
  • Commission Clark Doors.
  • Work safely and adhere to risk assessments and method statements.
  • Work at height, erect mobile towers and operate MEWP.
  • Liaise and communicate well with colleagues and customers to ensure successful fault finding and repair, planned maintenance or commissioning and handover.
Candidate requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of servicing and repairing industrial and specialist doors, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, rapid rise roll up doors, horizontal and vertical sliding doors.
  • Mechanical engineering skills and competence.
  • CSCS card.
  • Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Fault finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build scaffold, operate a MEWP and work safety at heights.

Preferable:

  • 17 or 18th Edition IEE training and certification.
  • ECS card or equivalent.
  • IPAF and PASMA qualifications.
  • Door & Hardware Federation ( DHF ) Safety certificate.
  • Competent electrician, capable of installing containment, running mains cabling and control circuits. Terminating same accurately and to a high standard.
  • Understand wiring diagrams, able to fault find and service door motors and controls.
  • Familiar with safety requirements of common door types EG. safety devices/anti fall-back devices.
