Clark acoustic hinged fire doors offer simple access and are a cost effective way of securely closing a large doorway for infrequent use.

Hinged doors are usually fitted into the opening, meaning that the door frame reduces the opening by a small amount, and they also require space in the building in the direction of swing. We can offer door furniture and complete fire and acoustically tested locking system to meet the customer’s requirements.

For applications where large oversized doors are required, Clark Door can supply a composite hinged door solution. Clark hinged doors can be supplied in a variety of constructions to suit your need, including acoustic, fire or thermal insulation.

Large hinged acoustic fire doors are designed to your custom sizes and manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 quality control system. They are made from heavy duty steel faced acoustic panels to provide superior strength and insulating properties, making them suitable as sound barriers up to Rw56dB, with a fire rating of up to 2 hours. Available as single or double leaf doors, they come complete as a door set with door leaf, frame and hardware factory fitted.

Clark Door provides custom designed flag hinges for use on its large size composite construction single & double leaf door sets. The 3 flag plate design hinges feature a robust welded construction with a substantial steel rod hinge pin and incorporate 2 thrust bearings and 2 separate roller bearings sized to handle the loads imposed by the door panel and the seal compression forces . A grease lubrication point and adjustment slots are a design feature to enable the doors panels to achieve the designed compression of the perimeter seals, to ensure many years of trouble free operation.

Oversized hinged fire doors come with a choice of colours in Plastisol coated steel, a heavy duty coating applied during manufacture of the steel sheet. Plastisol finish is tougher than polyester powder coating and suitable for exterior and marine applications. Doors can also be prepared for cladding or veneer finishes.
