Manufactured in the UK to ISO 9001:2015 and with over 40 years of independent acoustic test data, Clark Door provide individually designed specialist doors to the most challenging customer’s specifications.

Clark Door’s acoustic doors provide sound insulation for a wide variety of applications including; performing arts, arenas, museums, and recording studios.

Large, high-performance industrial acoustic doors typically have substantial mass, which can place significant loads on the surrounding building structure.

By consulting with us early in the design process, these loads can be accounted for from the outset, often eliminating the need for costly secondary structural steelwork later in the project.

Including laboratory testing to ISO 717 standards and on-site acoustic testing, we manufacture a wide range of acoustic door solutions to meet specific sound insulation requirements.

Our doors are available with sound reduction ratings of up to Rw 58 dB for a single soundproof door, with even higher levels of attenuation achievable using combination soundproof door systems.

Large Acoustic doors up to Rw 58dB can be fire rated to EI 120 / BS EN 1634-1, eliminating the need for separate fire shutters.

The acoustic fire doors feature the Clark Digital Controller (CDC), an encoder positioning system to ensure precise seal compression in the closed position, with automatic reset in the event of power failure.

The CDC enables easy connection to the fire protection system, normally through the assured supply: when activated it provides a signal to the door closing circuit which overrides all other signals.

An assured power supply is required but optional battery backup or manual disconnect device and procedure can be provided if necessary.

• They can be prepared for timber backed veneer or cladding to match the building’s interior and exterior.
• Hinged soundproofing doors come as a complete tested doorset including all the hardware, seals, and frame, closer etc.
• Large acoustic doors can be designed to incorporate a pedestrian pass door.
• They can be designed to include sound rated vision panels with fire properties.
