The Project & Design Engineer is responsible for translating customer requirements and project specifications into engineered solutions that can be manufactured efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. This role bridges design engineering, project coordination, and manufacturing operations to ensure successful delivery of products from concept through production and installation.
Reports to: Head of Projects and Design
Location: Carlisle (CA6 4SD)
Salary: £35,000- £42,500 – depending on qualification/experience

Draughtsperson
Overall Job Purpose:
- To support engineers with the effective designs for specific contracts.
- To produce accurate drawings for customer approval and manufacturing.
- To produce installation drawings and instruction packs.
- To maintain supporting documentation associated with submittals and document control.
Reports to: Head of Design & Engineering
Location: Carlisle (CA6 4SD)
Salary: £28,000- £32,000 DOE/Qualifications

Door Constructor
We are seeking reliable and motivated people to join our production team as Door Constructors (Assembly Operatives) within our Composite assembly area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be manufacturing high-quality specialist doors, ensuring standards of accuracy, safety, and quality are maintained throughout the process. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work flexibly to meet production demands.

Electrical & Mechanical Engineers: Installation, Service & Manufacturing
These roles are predominantly site-based, with regular weekly travel to West Cumbria, and centre on delivering installation, commissioning and service activities on customer sites. This work is supported by block periods based at our Carlisle facility for build, testing and home-hub operations. Flexibility and a willingness to regularly work away from home are essential.
