The Manufacturing Excellence category highlights family-led businesses who demonstrate outstanding production capabilities, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality and innovation. We are delighted to be shortlisted alongside Openhouse Products Ltd, Nutree Life, Enviro Systems UK Ltd, A. Algeos Ltd, and Bluebell Fitted Furniture. Each company reflects the diversity and strength of the North West family business community.
Being shortlisted recognises not only our strong track record of engineering high-performance doors for acoustic, security, and temperature-controlled environments, but also our investment in Research & Development, our export success to over 50 countries, and our proud family business heritage.
We are proud to have been recognised in recent years with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, the King’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation, and an award at the North West Family Business Awards in 2022. Entering awards like these helps us celebrate the hard work of our entire team, strengthen our reputation with potential clients, and showcase Clark Door as a great place for future employees to grow their careers.
On Thursday 24th April 2025, the full Clark Door team were delighted to welcome judge, Louise Gardham, to our Carlisle head office as part of the judging process. Louise spent the morning with Paul Ashley (Chairman), Andrew Ashley (Managing Director), and Antonette Cullen (Senior HR Business Partner) discussing our continuous investment in culture, innovation, and people. This was followed by a tour of the premises with Richard Nugent (Project Office Manager) and David Brady (Head of Operations) to showcase some of our current projects and meet more of the Clark Door team.
Clark Door is delighted to be joining our fellow finalists at the awards dinner being held on Friday 9th May 2025 at the iconic Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.
