Are you ambitious, hardworking and with a passion for engineering? Clark Door are looking for the next generation of talented apprentices to help us achieve our ambitious plans for growth.
Our highly successful apprenticeship programme has been running for more than 30 years, many of our apprentices are still with us, having progressed through the business in a technical and/or managerial capacity. The business is a size where you are treated as an individual but large enough that you can get involved with great people working on world class projects in Design, Manufacture, Installation and Service before finding the best place for you to work after your Apprenticeship.
Clark Door invests in our people to develop their careers in Craft, Technician, Business Administration, and with some of our Engineers working towards Bachelor in Engineering Degrees or Chartered status.
Adam Jackson, who joined us in September 2018, described his experience as a Clark Door apprentice in an interview with in-Cumbria magazine.
‘I did alright at school but I wanted to work. I’d planned to work with my dad, who’s a joiner. Then I did work experience here and knew I wanted to do welding. I had such a good interview – they were just really nice people, they were listening and smiley. It’s a phenomenal place to work. Schools push sixth form and university but you can get a better experience on an apprenticeship.’
We welcome applications for Electrical, Mechanical, Welding and Fabrication apprenticeships. Please visit our careers page for current vacancies.
