Buckingham Palace Reception for Clark Door’s King’s Award
This week a representative of Clark Door attended the first King’s Award reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by His Majesty The King.
Representing Clark Door at the reception, was our long serving UK Sales Manager, Damien, who said of the experience: ‘It was a privilege to attend on behalf of the company and meet King Charles III personally. The experience was very grand, yet also relaxed.’’
Being among distinguished guests with outstanding achievements and one of only 47 companies to win the Kings Award for Innovation was an extremely proud moment for the Clark Door team and its representative. As a core member of the team that were directly responsible for us winning this prestigious award, our MD Andrew Ashley thought this gesture was most appropriate – ‘I have been before when we won the Queens Award so was pleased to ensure someone else from the team had the honour to represent the company and enjoy their visit to the Palace.”
Clark Door recently won the Kings Award for Innovation for our Clark Multigard®. A product which is used in many security applications, it has unique acoustic and thermal insulation properties, and is installed in various sectors from national infrastructure and defence to museums and art galleries.
