We are thrilled to share that the Clark Door cycling team has successfully completed the challenging 100-mile ride from Carlisle to Edinburgh, known as RIDE TO THE SUN!

Our team of passionate cyclists has worked hard to prepare themselves for the challenging terrain, unpredictable weather, and other obstacles that the journey posed. They showed exceptional dedication, teamwork, and resilience throughout the ride, making the finish line with true Clark Door spirit.

Embarking on this journey with the goal of raising awareness and support for charities close to our hearts, we were able to raise a total of £2,700 for Cancer Research UK, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Jacks Journey.

Setting off early Saturday evening, we rode through beautiful and scenic routes, pushing ourselves to the limit both physically and mentally. Covering 100-miles, 1267m ascent, over 6.5 hours, through the night, in time to watch the sunrise in Cramond, Edinburgh.

Our RIDE TO THE SUN journey was not just about pushing our limits and completing the challenge, but also about supporting causes that we strongly believe in. We are grateful for the support and encouragement from family, friends, and colleagues, and for the generous donations we received in aid of our chosen charities.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the event organizers, volunteers, and sponsors who made this challenge possible, and we look forward to taking on more cycling challenges in the future!
