Clark Door’s Research and Development Centre is officially complete!
Work began on our state-of-the-art £3 million research and development centre in June last year.
There is already a number of R&D projects that would not be possible without it, including projects for presitigous clients and the development of our very own security shutter door, the Clark Multigard®.
The factory extension was made possible by the half million-pound investment from the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership.
During construction of the R&D Centre, Cumbria LEP (CLEP) Deputy Chairman Jim Jackson said:
“Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership is delighted to commit Growth Deal funding to support this project. It is particularly pleasing that this contribution will help the company take advantage of new opportunities, expand its operating base at Kingmoor Park and create new jobs.’’
