Clark Door provided a 5000 x 5500mm STC50 horizontal sliding acoustic door, with a 2 hours fire integrity and fire insulation rating for the theatre. A low-profile track was engineered for the sliding door due to restricted overhead space.

In addition Clark Door provided 35 steel hinged acoustic STC49 personnel doors. All of these doors also carried a 2 hours fire integrity rating, some with a ballistic rating. The client provided special hardware for several personnel doors to match with the client’s design.

Clark Door design team liaised with the architect and general contractor, checking the compatibility of the hardware to ensure the acoustical and fire integrity of the doors was retained.
